NEVER RELATE SUICIDE WITH COWARDICE

We often relate suicide with cowardice. It's the opposite, but in a negative way. We have made a society where people fear to talk about their depression, their trauma, as they feel they will be mocked at or thought of as being weak. Society indeed laughs at people who are a bit mentally unstable and that needs to stop. Depression is like cancer, it eats you eventually until taken care of. The only minor difference is that you can say by the physical condition of a person that he/she has cancer, but you can't say anything about a person's mental health until and unless they tell it themselves.
Why are we being so ignorant of the fact that mental instability is a common fact? We live in a fast paced world and there are numerous reasons that can bring a person down. Lots of students, kids, commit suicide , but do we really try to bring out a change? No. We just declare them as being coward as they couldn't fight through this. This is where we make mistakes,  each and every time! And this is why most people fear to speak about their depression to others, thinking they would be labelled as maniac or psychopath.
Try to acknowledge the fact that mental depression can happen with anyone, it can happen with you too. It hasn't happened to you yet doesn't mean it won't happen to you ever. Life is a play and there are many roles left for you to play. Maybe in one of the roles, you will face this depression. So, be compassionate with people. At least try to hear them out, they might feel light. And for those people who are in the phase of depression, reach out to people. There will be at least one person who will be willing to help you.
But to all others, please realize the fact that MENTAL DEPRESSION exists and it needs to be treated, and not being mocked at!
